Backstabbing for Beginners is an upcoming American political thriller film directed and co-written by Per Fly. Based on the memoirs of the same name by Michael Soussan, the film features Theo James and Ben Kingsley in the lead roles. The plot follows Michael, an idealistic young coordinator who works at the United Nations’ Oil-for-Food programme, with the belief that he is making a difference in a world ravaged by war. His beliefs are shattered when he discovers that his boss, whom he considered to be a man of principles, might possibly be involved in a massive corruption scam.
