Beirut Full Movie Synopsis:
Beirut is an upcoming American fictional political thriller film directed by Brad Anderson and featuring Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike in the lead roles. Formerly titled ‘High Wire Act’, this movie is set in 1980s Lebanon. Mason Skiles is a former U.S. diplomat, who had been forced to flee Lebanon in 1972, after a violent gun assault led by extremists killed his wife. 10 years later, he is approached by CIA operatives who inform him that his friend Cal Riley, who he left behind in Beirut, has been held hostage by the terrorist organization responsible for the death of his family and they are demanding that Skiles return to his native country to negotiate his friend’s release.
