Queen of Katwe Full Movie Synopsis:
Queen of Katwe is an American biographical drama film directed by the Canadian filmmaker Mira Nair. The film depicts the story of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan citizen who makes her way into the world of chess by making her country proud. She hailed from Katwe and as she made her way into the World Chess Olympiads, she went on to become the Woman Candidate Master. She brought her country on the world platform and was then nicknamed as Queen of Katwe. The film received its premier in the Toronto International Film Festival and met some great reviews. The film stars David Oyelowo, Lupita Nyong’o, and Madina Nalwang in the pivotal roles.
