Rebel in the Rye is a 2017 American biographical drama movie based on the life of author named J.D. Salinger. The movie shows the journey and struggles of his life and the story of his success thereafter. The romantic relationship with his girlfriend Oona O’ Neil and his experiences while fighting the battle of World War II. The plot mostly focuses on the efforts made by him to get his novel ‘The Catcher in the Rye’ published after much opposition and controversies created during its release.
