The House with a Clock in its Walls is an upcoming American fantasy film which has been directed by Eli Roth and is based on the novel of the same name, penned down by John Bellairs. The story is set in the year 1953, about young 10-year-old boy named Lewis Barnavelt. The plot follows the mysterious adventures that follows Lewis when he visits his uncle’s spooky old house. Things turn awry when little Lewis accidentally unleashes creepy ghosts with an innocent desire to make new friends and impress the popular Tarby Corrigan. But he must gather all his courage to mend back the things that went wrong because of him.
