The Sun is also a star is an American teen drama film and the plot is based on Nicola Yoon’s novel of the same name. The movie follows the love story of 2 strangers turned lovers, Natasha Kingsley and Daniel Bae. Natasha, a young student of quantum physics, meets Daniel, an exchange student, and a romantic relationship starts between the two. On the other hand, Natasha is going through a difficult time in her home life as her family is facing deportation from their home. Stuck between the family’s problems and budding feelings, whether the two be able to ride on the wave of love or part ways forms the rest of the story.
