Top Gun: Maverick is an American action drama film and a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun. The story is set 36 years after the events of the first movie. Maverick returns to the instructor program Top Gun originally named the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program. There, he serves as a trainer for young aviators including the son of Goose, Maverick’s deceased best friend. This makes him confront his fears and the past when he takes up a mission that demands everyone flying to do the ultimate sacrifice. What’s the thing that Maverick fears during the mission and how can he overcome that?
