Badrinath ki Dulhania is an Indian Hindi language comedy drama film taking on the life of a man and his hunt for a suitable bride. He is quite old school when it comes to that and wants a girl who will play all the traditional roles a bride has to play in a conservative Indian household. But when he comes across a cheerful girl Vaidehi, his life turns upside down. He falls for her, even though realizing that she is not what he was looking for in a girl in the first place. She is a modern day girl with a free spirit and independent attitude towards life.
