Dark Phoenix is an American superhero film based on one of the beloved characters Jean Grey of Marvel Comics X-Men. The movie forms the 12th installment in the X-men film series and comes as a direct sequel to 2016 film X-Men Apocalypse. Following a life-threatening mission in space, Jean starts developing incredible powers, which ultimately turn her into the iconic Dark Phoenix. This transformation, caused by a cosmic force, makes her the most powerful mutant of all, and she loses control of herself and appears as a threat to the entire planet. Filled with intense emotions, the plot takes you through the fight of the family of mutants with their most devastating enemy to date.
