Fatteshikast is an Indian historical period drama film in the Marathi language that is based on the first-ever surgical strike in the history of India that happened. Set during Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s reign, the movie portrays the story behind the famous encounter of Shaista Khan and Shivaji Maharaj at Lal Mahal, Pune. The encounter that started as a result of the stealth attack on Lal Mahal despite it being heavily guarded comes after Shivaji Maharaj captured Panhalgad.
